Game Designer
I'm a huge fan of story driven games, to me they are the highest form of entertainment and immersion. They give people the chance to experience something they never could in real life. From fighting off a horde of zombies, becoming the Dragonborn warrior or fighting in a war zone, gaming opens up the entire imagination. I've found it's very easy to come up with a concept but difficult to turn that concept into a viable product. That's where the games designer comes in. My job is to turn the initial concept into a playable game through detailed documentation, clear and precise communication, helping the team collaborate and experimenting with game mechanics.
I have a wide skill set based on team work and leadership which I have honed in the retail jobs I've had from training and managing staff members, leading team meetings, working under pressure and to tight deadlines and dealing with conflict in the workplace. I also enjoy learning new skills to help me grow as an individual and to be an asset to any team whom I may work with now or in the future. My experience in the games industry at the moment consists of working with two student teams called Merkury games and Mythos. We are passionate about the industry and we make small indie games for PC and mobile platforms in order to help advance our skills and experience.

I don't believe in no win scenarios
